ライブレポート「コウモリ慕情-恋は黒色」

英訳　Gottosson2007年2月17日土曜日、ロックライダー。
(中略 )
さあ演奏がはじまる！と思いきや、
ドラムのリーダーBAT氏、おもむろにシンバルを片手で持ち、
片手にそれを叩きながらいきなり客席に突入！！
吹っ切れてるゥ〜〜〜！！！！！
つうか、私もだてに長いこと生きてません。
リーダーのその振るまいを見たとき、私は思いました。
「ああ、この人は、これから始まるTHEEE BATのショーにおいて、
シンバルをジャンジャン叩くことで墓場の悪い霊を呼び起こそうとしてるんだな」と。
なぜならば、彼らの墓標に記されているのは、
「R.I.P. (安らかに眠れ )」
ではなく、
「RIP (引き裂け )」
であることを私は知っているからです (ドットが無いのです )。
これから始まるのは、1966年型パンカーを墓場から蘇らせる儀式なのですミサなのです
(おまえも鑞人形にしてやろうか？ )。
そうです、引き裂け！
夜を引き裂くナイフをくれ！！
と思うか思わないかのうちに (思ってない。あとでそう思った )、
ミカBATのギターが激しくフィードバックを起こし、
激ファズの爆音が飛び出してきた！！
ファーストマンのいびつな形が彼女には良く似合います。
黒ずくめの衣裳に、ぬめぬめと光るブーツ。
セルジュ・ゲンズブールは、ブリジット・バルドオを唄った曲のなかで
彼女との出会いをこう唄っています。
「彼女はひざの上まであるブーツをはいていた
　それはゲランの杯に見えた」
それにならって言うなれば、私にはミカBATのブーツが
猛毒ストリキニーネ (STRYCHNINE )の杯に見えました。
(中略 )
ベースのカブBATは悪ガキの象徴です。
アゴを突き出し、まるで鼻の穴に目がついていて、
その目で客を見てるかのような挑発的な態度。
うつろな目の回りを黒く塗り潰し、
まるで「この世に産まれてきたのが何かの間違いだ」というような顔で、
ベースをボンボン弾きます。
その音はしぶといロッキン感覚に裏付けされており、
過激なまでのふてぶてしさで曲の屋台骨を支えています。

そして私の眼前には、夜空を舞うコウモリのように、
スピーディに、ところせましと、ギャアギャアとノイズをたてて、
ヤングで、ラウドで、スノッティなTHEEE BATがロックしてます。
WHERE THE ACTION IS！！
私は自分がアクションのある場所に居る！と感じました！！
気がつくと私は専属カメラウーマンのチョコBAT嬢からデジカメをお借りし、
ありとあらゆる角度からステージの上下の騒ぎを収めようとしてました。
そうだ！リーダーさんの視線で見るTHEEE BATも撮影しなければ！
私はリーダーさんとはこの日が初対面で、
「立って酒を呑むのが好き」ということしか知らなかったので、
リーダーさんの邪魔にならぬよう (邪魔をしたら殺されると思ったので )、
気をつけて近付いて撮影しました。
ドラム視線で見るフロントの二人は、客席に乱入し、
ステージを転がり、叫び、お客はそれに反応して狂いまくり、
正気のかけらも無いのがよく判ります。
もしかしてこのドラムセットこそ、THEEE BATのライブ特等席なのではと思いました。
つぎからつぎへとくり出されるガレージナンバー。
まるで、マミーズが出てきたときの興奮です。
見てて嬉しいくらい迷いが無く、
ロックする喜びに身を震わせながら、
「まだまだいくで」とばかりの右肩上がり感に満ちあふれているのが頼もしいのです。
THEEE BAT。
彼らならきっと、楽器が無くとも、
自分の棺桶を踏み鳴らし、
骨と骨を打ち合わせ、奇声を発しながら自らのロック (ホネホネロック？ )
をやってのけることでしょう。
そして！！
真昼のTOKIOの空をコウモリ軍団で真っ黒に埋め尽くし、
狂った叫びを轟かせることでしょう。
THEEE BAT。
彼らはPSY高です。
BE A BAT MANIAC！！！！！！！！！！

THEEE BAT GIG REPORT
"Bat affection - love is black"

OK, ready for THEEE BAT playing, I thought,
but what I saw was the LEADER BAT,
slowly put up the cymbal high on one hand,
beating it by another,
and made his way into the crowd!! He's gone already!!!!
Well, I didn't spend my life just as a fool, too.
As watching such action of the LEADER BAT,
I thought "Ah, this guy at this THEEE BAT SHOW,
is calling up a bad soul of a graveyard by beating and dangling the cymbal out",
because I know why; it must be written on their grave-post
"RIP"(no dots in between),
meaning "Rip!" as it does,
not "R.I.P. (Rest In Peace)".
This is the mass that is a ceremony revivifying the banker 1966 models from a graveyard
(Will you want to be a solder doll, too? ).
Tear so it up! Give me a knife tearing up the night! !
On the moment I had such a thought in my mind,
or just before I had (later I realized I did have it),
MIKA kicked the feedback out of her guitar
and an explosion of hard fuzz jumped out! !
Distorted form of the First man guitar suits her well.
And total black attire and the slimily shinning boots, too.
Serge Gainsbourg sings an encounter with Bridget Baldot in this way;
"She wore a certain boots to the top of a knee,
it looked like a cup of Guerlain",
If I would describe MIKA in the same manner,
boots of MIKA BAT looks to me a cup of deadly poison STRYCHNINE.
(After a while… )
KUB BAT on bass is a symbol of a naughty boy.
He gave such a provocative attitude,
pushing out his chin as if his eyes are located in a hole of a nose and watch the audience.
His painted black around his zombie-eyes and his face made us feel like
"he was wrong that he was born".
His play was backed up by tough rocking sprit
and it supported all THEEE BAT songs
from the bottom with his overdriven poker face.
(After a while… )
And in front of me, the young, loud and snotty
THEEE BAT are rocking like bats flying in the night sky.
It's speedy, ultra-space and spreading quirky noise around.
WHERE THE ACTION IS! !
--- I was feeling that I am where the actions are!!
I found myself going to record all uproar up
and down the stage with a digital camera borrowed from Miss CHOKO BAT.
Oh, Yeah! I realized that I had to put THEEE BAT in camera from the LEADER BAT's eye!
I approached him carefully and photographed it not to interfere with his play (he would kill me if I did,
as you might know!), because it was the first time I met the LEADER BAT
and only knew that he likes to drink standing.
I could see the whole view quite well.
2 front members of THEEE BATS broke into the audience,
rolled on the floor and shouted it out.
The audience got exited and gone real crazy,
remaining not a single piece of sanity in their mind.
I thought being at this drum set to be the best position at the THEEE BAT GIG.
They played great garage numbers one after another.
It reminded me of the excitement when I first knew the Mummies.
I didn't see any hesitation in their play and was glad to see
they were totally happy to rock and getting higher and higher,
like they rock more and more!
THEEE BAT. I know they surely can play their own rock'n'roll (Is it "BONE to be wild"?),
rattling their bones, stomping on their coffin and giving off a queer cry,
even if they have no musical instruments.
And what's more! !
They would make whole wide Tokyo sky at noon filled up with a BAT army corps,
which give the crazy cry out open!!
THEEE BAT. They are THEEE TOP of THEEE TOPS!!
BE A BAT MANIAC! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
